For competition organisers

Every team judged on its work — not on who judged it.

Jurika runs your competition end to end — rubric, judges, scoring, deliberation, results — with bias-corrected fairness built into every score. Online or in person.

Free for schools, non-profits & educational events.

Most competitions are judged on a spreadsheet

It works — until someone questions the result. Three problems come up in almost every event:

Averages that aren’t fair

A plain average swings on whether a team drew strict or generous judges. Strong teams lose to luck — and you can’t see it happening.

Chasing judges by hand

Invitations, reminders, conflict-of-interest, someone dropping out mid-round — all juggled in your inbox and a spreadsheet.

Results you can’t defend

When a parent or head asks “why this award and not ours?”, there’s no record of how the decision was actually made.

The difference

Fairness isn’t a setting. It’s the engine.

Some judges score strictly, others generously. Jurika measures each judge against their peers on the entries they share, then corrects for it — so a team is ranked on its merit, not on the luck of who happened to judge it. Every entry is seen by several judges, and disagreement is surfaced, not hidden.

Run it however your event runs

One platform, one fair engine — whether judges are remote or at the table.

Online

Judges review video links and documents from anywhere, on their own time.

Face-to-face

On-site judging with automatic table seating and printable judge walking plans.

From setup to published results

Five stages. Jurika carries the fiddly parts.

1

Set up

Define your rubric, schedule and format. Guided so the scoring adds up correctly.

2

Recruit judges

Invite your own judges or open recruitment. Jurika assigns them balanced and conflict-free.

3

Score

Judges score each entry against the rubric — remotely, or at the table.

4

Deliberate

Project the fair ranking, settle the close calls, and record the reason for every award.

5

Publish

Release official results, issue certificates, and export the full scoresheet.

Built for real events — including children’s

Competitions involve real people’s data, often minors’. Jurika treats that as the starting point, not an afterthought.

Built for children’s events

Consent is captured and snapshotted at entry, and required declarations are enforced — not left to trust.

Privacy by default

Judges never see participants’ contact details. Data is minimised and access is invitation-based.

Conflict-of-interest aware

Assignment keeps judges away from their own schools, and every entry is seen by several independent judges.

Backed by a non-profit

Run by PaKSI Kelantan (Persatuan Kemajuan STEM & Inovasi Kelantan) — mission first, not margin.

Your data, your control

Stored securely over encrypted connections and never sold. You — or a parent for a young participant — can ask to see or remove it at any time.

Questions organisers ask

How much does it cost?

Jurika is free for schools, non-profits and educational competitions. Running a larger or commercial event? Talk to us and we’ll sort out what fits.

Online or in person?

Either. The same fair-score engine applies whether judges are remote or at a venue.

Do we need any technical skill?

No. Setup is guided step by step, and the scoring, assignment and reminders are handled for you.

Is our participants’ data safe?

Yes. Consent is captured at entry, data is minimised, judges never see contact details, and access is invitation-based — designed around Malaysia’s PDPA and children’s data.

Can we trust — and defend — the results?

Every award is backed by the bias-corrected fair score, a recorded deliberation reason, and a full CSV export. Defensible from the first score to the final medal.

Ready to run a fairer competition?

Tell us about your organisation and event, attach a couple of documents, and we’ll set you up. We vet every host because competitions involve participants’ data — often minors’.
